I am curious about one thing on this data logging process. Is there something (a sensor) in ours cars that measures A/F ratio? I mean if not how would CR know if he can make a tweek or not.

Hopefully he will chime in cuz i cant speak with much knowledge about it. I told him that it smells rich on startup so I think there is base fuel values that can be adjusted. Also mentioned that I wanted more sensitivity with the pedal and a few other lil things.

I dont think A/F can be checked but im not sure.

From the threads I've read, another O2 sensor has to be welded in and hooked to an A/F meter like a Dash Hawk.

We can still monitor dozens of other parameters and have the tune file nailed down perfect other than wide-open-throttle air/fuel ratio... which is something we can tweak if neccessary with dyno results.

We know on Colby (the OP), that he had his car dyno'd and it was approximately 13.4 from the tail-pipe sniffer which usually reads a little leaner than it really is. So he was probably about 13.1 air/fuel ratio up front (pre-cat, or lack there of for some of you ). We were targeting 12.85, so I added a tad of fuel, but it was nearly perfect mail-order.

Everything else can be dialed in, though. Spark, fuel trims, etc. They are probably all near perfect, too... but every car is different.

Colby, got your email but there were no datalogs attached. Shoot them over again, just in case they dropped off or something!
