The slicks that fit the 17" wheel will fit, 169stang uses them and I have ordered them along with a second set of rear wheels. Here is a link to some moderately priced ones but I would suggest having a local tire shop order them as the tax will be less than shipping as long as they don't make you pay for shipping. I got them ordered and installed for $195.00 each with tubes.

I burned those slicks up pretty quick and I ONLY used them at the strip. I went to the ET Street radials this round. The radials are safer to ride on the street with. If you plan on daily driving, I wouldn't recommend the non-radials. They are a bit scary while haulin down the highway. So far, I feel they hook better than the non-radials. My 60' is better with them atleast. Either way, you'll be happy when you run on them. One other observation...when you let the air down on the non-radials, you'll sway when you let off the gas. I've run them at 14psi and it swayed so bad, I felt like it was going to get sideways. I always ran them at 18psi, which took away the real bad sway feeling. The radials don't sway nearly as much. I bought a second set of bullitts (17x9) from MMR. http://mustangracing.com/ Very inexpensive wheels. I also had to screw my wheels to the tires. I marked the wheels and tires and the tires were moving about 1 inch per run. Some here say that isn't really important or imperative. I felt better knowing that the tires were not going to blow off the bead on a run with the screws.
