I know someone that does cryo-genics. I stand to gain nothing from this at all. He just told me that if anyone wanted it done to tell him David sent you and he would give you wholesalers discount. He was telling me that his local police/fire/ambulance depts. were going thru rotors/brake pads twice a year. Since doing cryo, they are on the same pads and rotors for 2 years now. I don't know much about it except it freezes the components and takes overnight to do the process. I believe a set of rotors and pads costs like $40 or close to that. It normally would cost $100 or so, i forget. Anyone interested, let me know. I just thought it was pretty cool process. When I eventually go to new rotors/pads, i'll be getting this done. My rear rotors are warped from burnouts before the line locs.

IMHO, it's a waste of money. The rotors will still warp. Instead cyro treatment makes the rotors(steel) stronger which lessens the chance of cracking. My friend used to have his rotors cryo treated on his Z06 due to cracking during road racing. He was using race pads and tires though. You won't generate that kind of heat driving on the streets or drag racing.
