I would stay as far away from Crane products as possible. I as well as many other people have had problems with their quality control. I had a couple sets of their rocker arms and adjusters on my mopar fail in 1000 miles on my mopar. A ton of other people have had, and are still having the problem.

Cranes quality control program is simple. Ignore the defects that customers complain about, and everything passes.

To be honest, comp is about the only cam grinder I would go near at this point.

I haven't had any problems using Crane products. I have used their stud rockers as well as their shaft rockers and cams with no problems.

You can also look at Crower

We've had the best luck with Comp's stuff... I haven't heard any problems with the Crane, thus far.

Crane cams can cause piston to valve contact. Read the subsection in their cam guide.

No one said they were a drop in. Tuning is required with all but the smallest cam reqardless of who's you use.

From the information I have been able to gather Comp or Crower cams will be the choice for my '05. I like the stage 2 selection because of the jump up in mid-range torque but most of the shops I have spoken to say go w/ stage 3. Stages one and two are only there for stage 3. Comp and Crower stage 2's have very similar numbers/set-up.

I am still saving so I have some more time to make up my mind.
