Couple Questions about a couple mods

Hey guys,

Coming from a rather tamed FWD car (1999 Cougar V6) and doing all my mods to it, to a ready-to-be-unleashed, wild RWD car, I've found myself learning a lot, and this forum has been THE best source of info out of any forum I've ever visited. With that said, I'm looking to enrich my throttle response and acceleration a bit, and eventually work my way up to more things. But there are some mods I've read a lot about here on forums, and am interested in, but don't quite understand them completely. I use the search function often, but sometimes there is so much information, that I cant take it all in, so figured I'd ask some questions as well as advice. Ok here goes:

Pypes O/R H-Pipe: I'm pretty fixated on this right now, as I have, since I was a little kid, always been infatuated with the deep and throaty sound a torquey V8 can generate. Its also a plus that it frees up several horses, so I know I'm going to get this, b

Steeda UDPs: If I'm also a music nut, and maybe at some point plan to upgrade my stereo to a Navigation system, and maybe change out my amps, is this a bad idea? I actually use my accessories a lot, so I'm just wondering. Also, what kind of shop should I be looking for if I want one to install these for me?

BMR Lower Control Arms: I've read about this mod for a while, and how it helps with traction and acceleration. But if I dont plan to lower my car anytime soon (maybe get some 18" wheels), is this a useless mod? Also, can I just do this and not need a relocation kit or UCAs or Panhard?

Headers: Whats the difference between Long Tube and Short Tube headers? Will these be useless if I opted for forced induction in a couple years?

Thats all I can think of now, but Im sure I'll come back asking for more. Thanks in advance guys.

Ill answer your questions.

1. You will love the offroad pype if you like that classic rumble just make sure you get the right mufflers for them.

2. Pullies only slow the accessories not stop them. You will be fine with the UDPs.

3. The lower control arms are useless unless you are doing other things to the car. Believe me you won't feel a difference with that mod alone.

4. As far as headers the shorties give you minimal hp gains but are mostly for sound (deeper). The long tubes will give you the most hp and really make you car loud especially with the offroad pipe.
