I just put corsa mufflers on my 05 and they are not as loud as the stock GT mufflers, will they get louder over time and has anyone experienced this?

 

Most mufflers do break in for the first thousand miles or so.

 

Yes! Mine got alot louder after 2k miles, I even checked under the car for leaks last weekend

 

yes they will and also you are only hearing them IN the car

from outside its a WHOLE different ballgame

they will never sound louder to you inside the car for the most part. They will get louder on the outside, that is what makes corsa no great... no interior noise.
Have someone else drive your car and you stand outside and have a listen....you can not judge it from the drivers seat.

They are even throatier under load.

It's true they never sound inside like they sound outside, though they echo much more through an underpass, try that for some fun!

the video was taken from inside a G35 with very loud mufflers but at a cruising speed..

and even after i installed them, you could tell they were much louder..

but from inside the car, they are quiet. which is perfect..
