I was listening to the sound clips on the corsa website last night, they sound awsome, and they claim no drone at any speed...does anyone have this axleback system installed, what do you think ? how is the sound ? any horsepower gain ?
ETC> Thanks..

someone said they were unhappy with the setup cause the hangers were seriously off alignment and the exhaust does not sound like the clips from the website. I guess that person got the issue fixed. They are really expensive! If they lowered the price about 200-300 bucks I would def buy them.....

Thanks for the response Paul, I had read the thread you are refering to, but there were a couple of others that loved the corsa exhaust, said the sound was great and the drone was minimal to non existant, anyway, I have looked at the technical specs for these mufflers and they are impressive, the design is extraordinary, and the sound clips on the web are awsome, the mufflers have a straight through design, with sound cancelling technology, I was hoping to get a few replies from people who had installed these to get some more opinions, I am sold on them at this point...these along with the jba headers (Shorty) and the stock mandrel bent 2.5" H pipe is the plan for my GT at this point....Any opinions will be greatly appreciated..

I like the Corsa exhaust, from what I see on their website it looks like a top-notch system. I'll wait till more people get them for more opinions before I pass judgement on them.

As far as SLP Loudmouths they are great/sound/quality etc...

But I think that once you change midpipes, the sound might be TOO loud...

Thanks for the reply Jordan, and posting the clips of the install on your thread, I like the slp setup, but I will be running headers on my 05, I think the Corsa system will match up a little better as I do want some increase in the throaty sound, but still want a smooth quiet sound at hwy speed..

I called Corsa this weekend, guess what I talked with the owner of the Co. I am very impressed so far, they are pricey, but if they perform the way they claim, well worth the extra $$.

p.s. still havent heard from anyone who is actually running this system, please post if you are ..

All of the exhaust setups mentioned are of high quality, and I have looked at each in detail, the drone on these systems is what I want to avoid, Corsa appears to be the way to go, also the design of the muffler itself is totally diferent, they do not use any packing materials at all, they are a strait thru design with sound cancelling technology, unlike the slp, wich is mostly just a tip with minimal engineering...I wish someone would post that is running these things... :bang: :bang:

The flowmasters are a nice setup, you will like them I am sure, they are however made from the same old parts that mufflers have always been made of wich deteriorate with time, Corsa claims no drone, and no decline of the muffler itself with time, there is no baffling and these are stainless steel also they flow straight thru...I likem check out the sound clips on the website they sound awsome, anyway, guess no one on this forum is runnin with them yet, I have my fingers crossed someone who has em will post.. :bang:

i've heard the soundclips but I've also come across someone who had a problem with them, (installing them cause the hangers were bad) and this person said it sounded nothing like the soundclips on the website. If the corsa's were a lil more cheaper than 700 bucks, yea I'd def cancel the order of the flowmasters and go with that, but Flowmaster got my vote cause of pricing and performance......

I was the guy that got the corsa system that would not fit properly on the pass side.Corsa would not send me a new system and wanted me to take pics try to figure out why it would not fit.I told them that for the money I paid I did not want to be a test mule and wanted a new system. Finally after a bunch of grief from the corsa rep I sent back the system to LS1speed.com and got a steeda system that bolted right up.FYI- the corsa system does NOT sound like the clips and is actually heavier than the stock system.maybe a search will get you my origonal post on this.

BTW...there is NO drone with the standard Magnaflow kit...well not anymore then stock anyways......

Corsa makes a nice muffler...but I just wanted to point out that the standard Magnaflow kits don't drone....

Just out of curiousity where did you see that they do drone?
