Well, my 17 year old daughter is mad at me.
Seems she thinks ordering a Mustang GT with an automatic was a bad decision. She also didn't like the color choice. She would have preferred Sonic Blue.
Of course, I told her it's my car anyway and she doesn't have to drive it.
Here are some questions for those of you desperately trying to cling to your youth like me.
Do your kids like the Mustang?
Did they try to influence your color and option choices?
Will they ever get to drive it?
I taught my daughter to drive a stick on my 99 GT vert, and she loves it. I haven't taught my son yet, and that's a maturity thing. He's already put two cars in a ditch and there is no way he will drive my GT until he calms down and gets smarter (20 years perhaps) behind the wheel. :nono:

the Auto is as good as the Manual on the '05, no one has had regrets getting it... http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=16839
of course you wont get the same "driving experiece" as the manual, but if you want and/or need the auto you will not be dissapointed!
you did very very good with the Windveil Blue choice imo. I love that color... sonic blue looks amazing in some light, but in others it looks purpleish

So I guess I need to change mine as well. I would go with Redfire but that looks like a lipstick shade....
J/K about the lipstick. I like the redfire as well, but still going with Sonic ... guess it is good my hair stays short in the military. Hopefully they will think I am driving my wife's car then.

It's important that you got what you wanted.
I didn't even really consider my 17 year old daughters opinion.
I forgot that she knows everything. Maybe I should have.
She has got a 2000 Sunfire that she has transformed into a Barbie car.
And the thing about her being mad at you, is this something new?
It's rare that mine is NOT mad a me.
Congrats.

Just kidding, I don't think you could go wrong with any of the '05 color choices. Not everyone will like but as long as you are pleased with it, who cares what they think.

It's just a little dig at the youngin's. Like Big D. No harm inteded.
His post reminded me of when I was 17 and DID know everything.
I have figured one thing out getting older. The more I learn, the more I realize how stupid I really am.
