Codes Po2272 And P1000

Can anyone tell me what these mean? The car is an '06 GT automatic with a JLT II CAI, Pypes off road x-pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers. I have a Diablo with C & L tunes in it that I got from a friend, along with the JLT. He ran the JLT with these tunes with no problem. The car has the 87 octane street tune in it, and I have richened up the fuel a little with the "modify stock" feature. It says the bank 2 sensor 2 is showing lean. How can this be with MIL eliminators on the pipe? Any and all responses are appreciated.

The p1000 is nothing do not worry about it. And although you have MIL's my guess is that is only for the REAR O2's so you still have the front O2's. Po2272 is NOT a valid code. If you have lean codes then my guess is you have a loose intake tract somewhere. Go back over all connections. And do not mess wiht the setting simply install the tune that your programmer gave you for that intake.

Sorry, P2272 is the code; it says "o2 sensor stuck lean" not the more dreaded p0171 and p0174. Still am a little mystified. I put all the parameters back to default, cleared the codes, and reinstalled the C&L 87 Octane street tune. I don't see why this won't work with the JLT II kit. They are almost exactly alike. No lights so far, but only time will tell. Anyone have any comments?

I used MIL's from my 04 Mustang on my car and I got the codes after driving a day or two. I don't think the MIL's will work on the 05+ cars. The only place I can even find them advertised for them was www.brenspeed.com . My advice would be to get a tune from Bamachip's, Brenspeed, Tillman, ETC. That will take care of everything.

Got another light this morning and the Predator said no fault codes found. Cleared them anyway???? and light hasn't come back on. This is getting aggravating. I guess a custom tune is the only way to go?

First, you say you got the Diablo with tunes from a friend...... does the tunes that it has in it match your car's calibration code?

Second, get tunes for it from a reputable tuner.

Well, no more lights as of yet. Car seems to run like a raped ape. Much better throttle response. The tunes in the Predator are canned C&L tunes. The one I used was the 87 Octane Street Tune. He used the same tune in his 2006 Mustang G.T. with no problem. The only difference in mine and his is that his is a five speed. Hopefully, this problem is fixed; time will tell. May still get a custom tune just to have one. I would like to see how a dyno can really fine tune the combination. May have to go back with factory mufflers with that off road x-pipe though. This sucker is LOUD! Any feedback on a setup like that?
