I just received a series VI brace for my Saleen charged Mustang. I am waiting for an install sheet to be sent. Is the brace difficult to install? Also in the shipment was a small plate with two threaded post with hex nuts. What is this part for. What is the torque specifications for tightening the brace?

 

I haven't installed one so I am only guessing here but is the plate with the two studs possibly to move the cooler reservoir over out of the way? Also please post your results and how you like it after you get done. I was looking at this myself, the only thing holding me back was that I had concern that when the engine torqued it would hit the bar in that tight clearance and cause damage over a period of time. I would be curios when you get done if you have someone rev the engine and look at how much clearance is left when the engine is torqued to the side.
