Chevy powered Mustang !!

A 2006 Ford Mustang will be home to the twin turbo LS turning out at least 1000HP.

If my motor ever blows up i'll drop in a chevy crate engine..

so much freekin cheaper than buying a "modular" motor...

I swear ford must think our motors are made of gold.

I guess this just proves that there's no good-looking Chevy's!!!! Anyone can make a chevy motor run fast, its so easy even Cavemen can!!! More reason for me to build the Chevelle that I want to build(long story, short version), nice chevelle or malibu, with great stance and looks, 427 badges(corvette ones!!) on the side, windsor(stroked to 427) motor, 5-speed, nine-inch out back!!

Kind of wish I had a clone of my IROC-Z engine. This thing took over two years to fab as there are no "kits".... and it's emissions legal. It's kind of ironic how kids pick on me to run them when I'm in my GT but no one gives me a second look in my 20 year old Camaro. Little do they know.... Yes, what you don't know CAN hurt you!

That's actually pretty creative! That's a nasty motor too!

The all-out Ford guys won't like it, but I think it'll do the trick!

nice motor willie! I dig it! I always liked the look of the runners on the TPI intakes. I had an 86 that had the TPI on a later model 350. I took the TPI all off though and just popped on a carburetor.

So is it wrong to drop a Viper motor in a Shelby Cobra?

chevy crate motor $$ < Ford crate motor $$$$$$$$

When i was a kid it didn't matter what was in it... and if it didn't fit, get a bigger hammer... anything to make a car go faster.

427 + Mustang = match made in heaven. Regardless of the maker of the motor, that number and this car were meant to be together. The fact that it's getting twin turbos doesn't hurt either. Yes I'm a die hard Mustang fan but Ford seems to be scared of putting bigger cubes in the Mustang so this is one way around it.

This may come off as being harsh but anyone who would even consider dropping a Chevy engine into a Mustang ? is in my honest opinion committing sacrilege by not only insulting Ford but is also insulting every single Mustang enthusiast whose ever experienced the privilege of owning one and deserves nothing short of being shot before a firing squad.. As far as I'm concerned ? Ford's crate engines are just as good, if not better than any GM crate motor..Any hardcore Mustang enthusiast would much rather cut off a limb before ever disrespecting such an American icon as the Mustang by having it transformed into a Camaro wannabie...On the other hand, for those who feel the need to jump onto the GM bandwagon ? might just as well give their Stang's up to their local Chevy dealers in July/August of 09 in favor of the new Camaro...
