Jason,
I was wondering what products you would recommend for my car. It's gonna be a basic daily driver that I am going to lower with Eibach Pros and throw some 20s on. I've heard a lot about the rear end falling out of being "true" etc. A lot of guys are getting panhard bars, etc... what are your recomendations. Oh and down the road this car will see Auto X'ing duty
I also have a 96 Mystic that I am gonna turn into a straight line abbay. What do you have to get her ready for drag duty?
Thanks
Jesse

If you're going to lower it, you definately would want to get an adjustable panhard rod to center the rearend back under the car. While your at it, I would recommend the upper and lower control arms also. Since there is so many different parts between the 2 cars you're asking about, why don't you give me a call on Monday and we can talk about it more in depth. Here is the shop #

In the BMR link, the following formula was there:
FWHP = WEIGHT/(ET/5.825)^3
How realistic is that formula? For example, let's assume 500fwhp (~425rwhp), and a car+driver weight of 3700lbs. That works out to an ET of 11.35 sec... which doesn't seem right to me.
But, now if the formula was:
RWHP = WEIGHT/(ET/5.825)^3
Then again assuming 425rwhp (~500fwhp), and a car+driver weight of 3700lbs, it results in an ET of 11.98 sec... which makes more sense with 425rwhp.

Well for what it is worth I only dynoed 380 rwhp on the 125 shot and wentt 11.92 at the track. There have to be more variables to factor in to come up with a time that corresponds with the power levels. For example I also dynoed 450+ rwtq but it doesnt factor that in the equation. In any case screw the equations Don and just go low 11's!!

What brakes will you be useing and do you need special axles made to fit the ABS exciter rings.

Curious as well. I've been looking into this over the last couple weeks. My hesitation is with the 15" wheels. I've also been looking into c-clip eliminators or 9" housing ends. The problem then goes to the brakes again. If I go to a 9" brake, I loose the ABS and E brake-which I don't want to do. I'm just thinking of trying to stop the car at the end of the track now! I'll be watching what you guys do with the rotors/calipers!

Brakes are yet to be determined. We will be seeing how far we can push the factory ones for a while. You do need special axles made for the exciter rings. This is something you must mention if ordering a 9". You must also provide your own exciter rings, Moser does not offer them.

Hey BMR can you give us some updates on that turbo system, that is the strangest thing I've ever seen. I am very excited to see how it comes out.

We will be giving updates along the way. The system should be being installed soon.
