Thumbs up

I tried to search for this in forum with no luck.

My CEL came on miraculously at 3000 miles (when my maintenance check up was scheduled). I change my oil and filter myself and want to know how to reset this switch if there is one. :bang:

Thanks in advance for your help.

Unhook the negative battery cable for a few minutes, then reconnect it and it should be back to normal. The dealer has a reflash for the computer that solves the problem also.

That check engine light might be due to a computer programming issue that causes a false misfire code, there's a technical service bulletin out from Ford on that. Don't shut the light off, get it looked at under warranty.
