check engine light

installed bassani x-pipe with hi flow cats and mufflers . started up ok no check engine light . went in house cleaned up. came out started up check engine light on. cleared with predator . rided around 10 miles no light , started up again check engine light came on. what to do?

You might be flowing too much air now with the high-flow cats... check with Diablo to see if high-flow midpipes are covered under the "stock" 91 tune.

Second option is the high-flow cats aren't cleaning the air enough for the rear o2 sensors... I would think this would take longer though, not a quick CEL like you experienced.

unplug the negative battery cable and let it sit overnight.

that took care of it for me.

well i have the the same system and your car is running lean so for now i would add some fuel at 4-7 range about 5 clicks to the rich side then drive to a dyno.
