Thumbs up

Well I think I've decided its time for me to begin engine mods, 1 at a time for financial reasons, LOL
As far as the air intake I like the look of the JLT, but can't afford a tuner right now, plus I'm still on the cautious side of warranty etc (please dont chime in on this there are plenty of threads already hehe)
I am thinking about getting the K&N then down the road the X2 tuner. I've always been happy with K&N with my other vehicles. My first question is anyone know of a place thats a good price on the K&N? I saw one post somone got it as low as 199 on special though (and the specials over), that would be awsome since I've seen 269-289 roughly. My second question does anyone have just the K&N without a tune or anything else and an auto? If so how noticable is the increase?

Thanks

I saw them at High Horse Performance for $239. I haven't seen them any cheeper than $199 at Brother's. That's where I got mine. Mine runs geat, better gas milage, + 1 mpg around town up to 20-21, and made a run to NC this weekend and got 26.7 mpg. That was doing 80-90 the whole way. No HC trap in either. Have fun!

$260 at Martel Brothers.com, FREE Shipping!!! Every other place I go to they have like $25-30 shipping, like Brothers Performance and other websites.

239 from high horse isn't bad, they may get my business. Anyone know of anyone that beats them?
