Talked with Chuck at CHE today...and together with Mike at Powerhouse411...have developed their version of LCA relocation brackets. I have their K-member brace with "torque limiters" right now. They have great products and are both super guys to deal with. They will be offered at 98.00 bucks i believe...and thats powdercoated! These are a direct BOLT IN! No welding needed! Just want to pass along news....these should be available for shipping this Friday. I will be one of the first to try them out,and will post here on my experience. Weather is getting bad here...so i hope to get them and try them out before snow starts flying.

I just ordered a set too. I like the idea of these because they are totally reversible unlike the BMR weld in brackets. Metco offers a set of bolt in brackets also, but they state that they only work with their control arms. I'm not sure how or why that would be, but the CHE ones look pretty hard to beat anyway. Of course they had to release them right after my panhard bar brace order got shipped though!

Hate to break it to ya but bolt in brackets are very likely to break from the stress of drag racing. For a bracket that holds the suspended rear end from side to side to not be welded in is a bad idea. Youre going into the wall...

If perferred, they can be welded in place as well.
They will also accept the stock trailing arm, either of the replacement lowers from CHE, or any stock replacement lower and they can easily be changed back to the stock position with little effort.

Under load, does the pinion want to deflect upwards, or downwards. I was thinking up, but wasn't sure. If this is the case, the bolt on the upper portion is seeing virtually no load which if mainly forced on the new bracket mounting face. In this case, I don't really see a great need for welding.

I'm really interested in this, not sure if I trust something this important to a couple of bolts though. I'd like to hear feedback from people that already have these. I was previously considering the BMRs, but I'm not a welder, so I'd have to find someone to do that for me.
If these are capable of what we all throw at them I'd definitely install them in my ride.

Yes...i have same ones! They fit as well as stock or any other.
