CHE brace and torque limiters installed
Had my buddy powdercoat the brace today, then we installed it with the limiters. Also put in some Steeda poly shifter bushings and together, what a difference!!!

I installed the CHE brace w/ TQ Limiters. I noticed a minute amount of increase NVH through shifter and, oddly enough, a bit through the gas pedal/floorboard as well. Various adjustments to the TQ limiters had no effect on the NVH. I'm guessing w/ the tranny now kinda tied to the frame of the car, a bit of NVH is inevitable.

Some is to be expected, as long as its not TOO much.
Embalmer, did you already have Prothane motor mounts? Looks like it in pic1, and you still noticed that much of a change? (trying to decide if I want to do motor mounts or CHE brace)
Took her out for a 50 + mile drive today. I had been using the Steeda G-Trac brace until now, and I removed that for the CHE brace. The limiters make a huge difference to me because I'd been having a problem with the shifter moving when the rear suspension was going over bumps and it was really getting annoying. I figured isolating the transmission was going to help, and because the trans is anchored, the shifter is stable now. I noticed earlier with the addition of the Prothanes, there was a bit more NVH, mostly vibration felt in the chassis and a bit in the shifter. Now the limiters do add a bit more feeling through the shifter (I imagine the poly shifter bushings have a bit to do with that) and the starter is a lot more visceral. Driving down the road the ride is more solid - going over railroad tracks all I could hear was the thumping of the tires over the ties instead of rattles and clunks. Shifting is slightly easier and WOT shifts are much easier to get into gear. Best $150 I've spent on the car so far!

I sold quite afew things off my car but opted to keep this mod on. Money well spent IMO~
BTW with the aluminum driveshaft, delete plates and JLT cold air kit w/tune off, my car is offically a "DOG"!

I noticed a little more NVH as well with the Prothanes and CHE stuff, but I actually like the way the car shakes my butt at idle... Call me crazy if you'd like, but it seems like it has more character now.
If I wanted a friggin quite/smooth ride, I'd buy a Camry.

I'm going to get the mounts because I feel safer knowing that there's less twisting force on the torque limiter mounting points on the transmission. I don't think those were engineered to be bracing points, and the motor mounts are a little extra insurance against turning the bracing point into a breaking point.

Good decision!!!
