Just looking into them and curious as to what kind of gains should I expect if I did install them and does anyone have an idea of approx. install costs?

Thanks

You might want to try a search on this over the past 180 days, as it's come up before. But I recall the HP increase is minimal (perhaps 5hp) and just not a good bang for the buck investment ($280 + 1-2 hours labor, maybe??). Plus the extra airflow requires a tune (I think my Predator handheld supports the Steed CMPs).

You have a write up? I'd probably install these if I could find some cheap on ebay or something. Same with a throttle body. Just not enough bang for the retail buck.

10 Horsepower, thats it, was told they are not worth the money, unless you have a supercharger

I also remember reading that nearly all the people who installed them would not do it again cause they notice no gains in performance.

I have them, I don't have dyno results to show specific horsepower gains but our racing has proven it to us, especially against other 05's. Then again we are using N20 and are going to a turbo so the benefit will be better in the near future. As for the install, I think it was easier than putting on the axle back exhaust, just might look a little intimidating becuase of the engine/wires. I would be willing to bet there is more horsepower to be unleashed than with underdrive pullies/throttle body.

I had looked at them back around Aug./Sept. and had found some information from people using them on the web. From what I was able to find then, they pick up about 10 HP in higher RPMs, but they also hurt your lowend torque.
