Today my check engine light went on at around 4600 miles. It's been about a month since I did any mods so I doubt that is it. Everything else seems fine. I will bring it in tomorrow but I am worried about driving it. Any ideas?

How do I reset the computer again? Doesn't it have to do something with turning the key a bunch of times?

Disconnect the battery ground cable ( Negative) for about 10 minutes and than reconnect it. That will re-set your computer.

Ok, I reset the engine like you had said and then I ran it for about 3 min and the light did not come back on. Do you think I should still take it in to the dealer to have it checked?

drive it till it comes back on, if something was really wrong with the car or with the mods you did, the light would of immediately came back on, so i say drive it till it comes back on again. Yea it could also be your gas cap, make sure thats tightened. Pop your hood, make sure all covers are tightly sealed (oil cap, trans fluid cap, etc.).

what mods do you have?

Ok. Everything is tight as far as caps go. The only mods I have is having the HC trap removed, Bassani cats, x pipe and axle back. I called up the dealer this morning and told him about the light being on and now not b/c I disconnected the battery. They said there will still be a code in there but I shouldn't be in any danger of messing anything up. Anyway, I am bringing it in this Friday for them to run the codes. I doubt it is anyting though b/c I drove all the way to work this morning and it didn't come back on.

Do you have a Predator to pull up trouble codes?

Here are a couple of TSBs that could be contributing to your problem:

04-26-22
MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) ILLUMINATED WITH MULTIPLE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) P035X AND NO DRIVEABILITY SYMPTOMS - 4.6L 3V ENGINE

04-16-1
ENGINE MISFIRE OR ROUGH RUNNING - COIL ON PLUG (COP) IGNITION SYSTEMS - WDS COP KIT DIAGNOSTIC TIPS
