It would have been nice if they had the air "supply" come from under the bumper spacing to the top where the CAI filter is. I really havent taken a good look at the amount of space for an air dam extension. But if there is room, i will certainly try fabricating something. The more air the better i guess. If i'm wrong let me know

If it's cold air you are right...If it's hot air, you are wrong...
Looks like with that setup you'll be breathing in some nice 200+ degree air. First thing i would fab up, is a heat shield.

I was thinking more of this location or just below that bumper line.
I myself may be going shaker but this would be great for those who want to stay stock but want better air flow.

Right on pony!!! Great job. It seem like the way to go for more forced air.
Keep us informed

Without a hood scoop or going through the headlamp I see only one other spot to get air, but it is marginal.
If you look at the left fender where the stock box mounts you will see a triangle cut out in the fender. This exposes the inner fender. My thinking is maybe Ford has future plans for picking up air. You could cut out the inner fender & catch air there, but the down side is heat off the wheel assembly & dirt. So you would have to screen the duct.
Anyway maybe I will try to make a nicer duct system out of hard plastic, or maybe a big name company will beat me to it.

I was reading in a magazine that the only thing you should not is tey to aspirate the front grille...thay said something about changing it would hurt the aerodynamics because they had to tweak some stuff to make the overbite nose work.
