Is CDC the only Shaker manufacturer?

I'm wondering if there's others out there. $750 just seems steep for what it is.

It's the only nice one that I am aware of. It's functional too. Recently I say another one what was cheaper but it was kinda small-ish and cheap looking though. I can't remember where I saw it sorry. Maybe someone else can help.

Fang sells one but it's more expensive because they sell it with a hood. Then you'd still need to get the new hood painted.

This is that ugly shaker the previous guy was talking about.

If you really like the shaker suck it up and buy the CDC. Yes it's pricey but to me it's worth it on appearance alone. Don't care that there's no performance value. Here's a place that has it on sale for $745.

You're right, the looks are awesone. I have the fake GT App hood scoop and I can't wait to replace it with a Shaker. Thanks for the feedback.

Before you break out that credit card, better research CDC's note on their website...

PLEASE NOTE: CDC'S TRIM RING DOES NOT COVER THE FACTORY HOOD SCOOP HOLES (07 FACTORY HOOD SCOOP)

Probably not. Why would you do that? That would look really awkard IMO.

Thanks TacoBill, but I had don_w on S197forum.com measure the hole in his hood, and then I measured the didtance between the holes in mine, and the CDC holes is wider that the space between the outside perimeter of hole-left to hole-right on my hood...I'm going to ask them for the measurements and check it out myself...

I called CDC and TacoBill is right...but they pointed me in the direction of a take-off parts place, where I can get a Perf White hood for $400...I just wish I could find someone willing to trade a plain hood for mine...so I could apply the $400 to the CDC....

is the company newtakeoff.com if so don't do business with them. Look up take off parts in google. Cheapest isn't always the least expensive.

Also try Tacobill's how-to's, they are great, and easy to follow.
