I emailed Crower and awaiting a response on whether they are developing cams for our application. I also talked to SuttonHP and they stated that they can regrind the stock cams, but don't have any firm power numbers yet. Anyone else know of any other companies that are working on cams?

Yea I read about those, but I am skeptical. I am trying to put together a head and cam package. SuttonHP has done heads on the 3V and Doug is going to get me more info on them. Livernois Motorsports had a dyno on their website that showed a 45 rwhp (mustang dyno) gain when they put ported and polished heads on a near stock GT. I am hoping that we might see 55 rwhp on a dyno jet on a more modded GT. If cams were good for another 15-20 hp that would be ideal. I would love to have 370+ rwhp N/A.

Update: Here is the information that I got back from Brian@Crower.

We are, but it's taking longer than planned. Possibly Nov-Dec 05 release.

Thanks for your interest in Crower,

Yeah...I haven't run across any cams for the 3v yet. IMHO it is a must needed upgrade not only in performance (HP/TQ) but in also in the way the engine sounds. Nothing sounds better than some lope in the idle going throuhg an upgraded exhaust. Ah...the old days!

I was all set to go with BBR but I'm waiting...I don't want a re-grind cam, and the cam is way to important to guinea pig. Comp Cam's or Crower will help us out.
