CAI and Tune installed

I installed a Steeda CAI and Brenspeed 89 tune tonite, what a difference. For anyone else trying to decide (I was on the fence about adding a CAI and Tune) it was well worth the $$ in my opinion. Can't wait to try out the 91 tune

Yes, 87, 89 & 91,.....there is no where to get 93 here in Iowa City. I wish the stations would get rid of 87 and replace it with 93. Very few people in Iowa use 87 because within the sate, 89 (10% ethanol blend) octane is always cheaper then 87 ocatane by 10 cents per gallon.

I'm thinking of trying Doug's 91 Race tune (can't get 93 octane here). Any one ever compare Doug's 91 Race to Brent's 91 tune?

+2 on Dougs 93 race tune. To give you an idea, I love to smoke the tires. Prior to the tune, I could rev the motor up to 3 grand and dump the clutch. Bounce off the rev-limitor (I believe stock is 6200 rpm?), and with a good shift, chirp second. With the 93 race tune , same scenario as above, the car would easliy go past 6200 rpm, ( I believe Doug's race tune's rev limitor is set at 6600 rpm), and with a good shift into second, continue to boil the tires. As a matter of fact, (don't laugh), yesterday when I hit second, I almost went into the ditch!!

If / when you get a tune, go with Doug's race tune. You will not be upset!!!
