I believe the Steeda CAI and Bamachips 93 race tune produces the most HP of any CAI/Tune combo, prove me wrong.
Post your CAI plus tune dynos here.
C&L, JLT, and other please apply!

Have you had your car on a dyno since? I noticed the correction factor on your dyno graph on the before/after had a 7% swing. That is a huge change.
The stock run was during a 50 degree day, the mod run was during a 90 degree day. The SAE and STD numbers for both runs were nearly identically, not even .5 difference.
I am looking for someone to post more than 298/318 with only a CAI and tune. FI need not apply.

It also appears, that standard correction was used, and not SAE !
If I'm not mistaken, STD correction usually produces higher numbers, over SAE

As for anyone posting over 298/318, with just CAI and tune ! don't count on it..
Not only are those numbers very un-realistic, but also un-trustworthy..

your gain was about 27 HP.....that is very good, maybe not the most I have seen nor the least......the 298 means absolutely nothing, you started with 270 which is very good for a stock GT......if someone has a car that started with 262 but dynod at 291 after CAI and tune, they gained more than you did but the total HP of 291 is less, so what??
The gains with a Brenspeed or Bamachips tune and any of the 3 big CAI names (Steeda, JLT or C&L) should all come out about equal to one another and be between 25-30 HP on a dynojet.

im curious, would a custom dynotune make more hp/torq?
been nearly a year now since we got our cars!

I'm sure you have seen this but here it is again any way

1) You can not compair dyno results from different days to get a true gain. No matter the correction factor
2) STD numbers will always be much higher. Most 05-up GT's will net 285-295 RWHP in SAE form, so 298 in STD is "about" normal for the mods.
3) Even though the gain is not true and accurate, 27 RWHP is about the norm. Check the link above and you will see 5.0 got 28 and change with the JLT and a little less with the C&L.
4) Doug is a tuner god, good choice.
5) Have Dan @ Pro Dyno get you some SAE graphs and let see them.

I know a dyno I can go to right now and put down probably 320 on with my few mods. Your end number means nothing without your beginning number. And really, to fully validate, they should be from the same day. It's a good gain, but every dyno reads different. I put down 241 in my '07 stock. 271 with intake and tune. So i gained 30 hp with a bad tune and C&L racer. I have since gotten a better tune and a few more mods and am at 284. Gotta look at the stock number.

The guys at Pro Dyno are awesome. I was running a Bama tune before they custom tuned mine. JLT FTW.

302.46/321.91
My first dyno with the Bama 93 torque mail order tune numbers were:
291.03/306.86
