CAI install writeup?

OK OK, I am FINALLY going to order a CAI (C&L racer, maybe street havnt decided yet). The only thing I am worried about is the install and tune upload (I know i know "its so easy a caveman could do it, but the only thing I know how to do with my car is fill it up with gas and drive it) So.....is their a writeup anywhere other than Tacobill's?

If you go to the Brenspeed site they have a video on how to install the SCT tune. The CAI from Mac has a very detailed instruction sheet. It's so easy my mother could do it.

Here is a write up I did of my C&L install. Hope it helps. It is very easy and takes less than an hour for the whole install.

Thanks for the writeup. How do yo like the street version? Any regrets about not getting the race version?

No regrets. It performs well and I like the look better than the race version. One thing nice about the street version being cast aluminum is you can ice it at the track between runs.

There was also a nice write-up in Mustang Enthusiast last year of the C&L street CAI install, I think in the June issue. I used it instead of the directions that came with it. I have the magazine with my CAI I'm selling. Mustangdaren's is even better though.
