CAI, Chip and pulleys = 30HP?
hi guys...
so far from what i read on this forum seems like this mod can help this much
anyone try it on an Auto. tranny stang? what kind of gains are you seeing??
will pulley's affect the battery level when you play the audio loud? will you see the lights dim lower etc?

I may be wrong, but I do not think changing a chip is an option in the 05. They are using tuners (diablo or SCT).
Lots of auto tranny owners have installed pulleys, a tune, and CAI.
As far as what gains will be seen, it is a range depending on what manufacturer you go with.
JLT says they can get 35 rwhp from the CAI and a tune alone, plus maybe 5-8rwhp for pullies.

Are you guys kidding? really? WOW! 40-50 HP at the wheels?
I ofcourse believe you guys, but i used to have a CLK55 and BMW M3...and it was known..if you had your ECU customized...you honestly wouldn't feel anything. maybe 5hp at the crank which is nothing at the wheels!
So, an automatic '05 stang...with these mods can be up to 340hp..and let me guess...370 torque? dats amazing!!!

WOW.... I installed the Steeda CAI and the SCT tune today and what a diff!
(SOTP) . Just to affirm what others have said. The bonus is the rev limiter is moved up and GREAT throttle response. I have not had any issues yet.....CEL . Idle is same as stock about 750 rpm.
With just a SCT tune I got 14 RWHP on my Automatic.
Stock my car dialed in at 259.0 RWHP and 259.7 Torque.
With the SCT tune I gained to 272.9 RWHP and 287.4 Torque.
It also got rid of that pesky Throttle delay.
I have since added Magnaflow Axel back and will soon add the JLT CAI and get a new tune. Hopefully this will happen in the next two weeks.
