Steeda CAI claims roughly 38hp with a sct tune, I would assume with a 91 octane tune. Are there any posted CAI hp gains given on 87 octane tunes? Is it worth the upgrade to CAI using 87 octane only when I'm already using a oem style Fram Air Hog replacement filter and SCT 87 tune?

 

38 is a far stretch as it is...nobody has come close to that....87 is not going to give you the best of gains....93 allows for more timing/spark/etc to be added to the tune. Just get a CAI/tune for 93 oct. You will notice alot better throttle response, more MPG and a hell of alot more fun car!
