Which CAI?

My birthday present will be a CAI with tuner. I have run down the options to the C&L Racer or JLT II with X-Cal 2. I'm planing on ordering from Brenspeed, Bamachips or Tillman because of there reputation in this forum.

What would you recommend me for my 05 GT?

Thanks

Diego

Both the C&L and JLT, are excellent choices. Although my personal preference is the 90mm Steeda intake. IMHO it provides just as much HP, and Torque.

I also like the overall fit and finish quality as well. As a matter of fact. SCT ranks the Steeda CAI as # 1 in overall quality and performance.

In addition. Brenspeed also offers, both the Steeda CAI, and X-CAL II package for $624.00

As Rocky pointed out and I will agree, I have the C&L street CAI and X-CALII with the brenspeed 93 octane tune I've been happy with it but if I where to do it over I would go with the Steeda CAI..........

JLT II makes just as much power as the C&L, but costs a lot less. That was the only reason I didn't go with the C&L on my 07 GT.

I have the JLT II. Don;t get me wrong, it makes great power but I kind of like the look of the C&L a little better.

Thanks to everybody. I will get the C&L Racer from Brenspeed. The C&L looks better in a stock GT, the performance is the same, the price diference is only $50 and anyway my wife is paying for it. I'm ordering from Brenspeed due to the all the possitive post I have read.

So thanks again to all of you for your help.

Diego
