in cabin sound-exhaust

I have a GT on order but I'm already thinking about a new exhaust. Is there a way to get less vibration and noise inside the car while getting a better sound outside?

Unless you stuff your car with dynamat, I can't think of how to make your car louder outside and quieter inside with an exhaust system

Yeah, between my exhaust and my 10" subwoofer, everything behind the doors rattles.

I heard dynamat is no good for "drone," so I wonder if it would really help with regular exhaust noise anyway. That's a lot of work, money, and added weight just to quiet your cabin. Personally, I want to hear my exhaust.

There is not an exhuast made that will be quiter than stock inside the cabin AND louder outisde than stock. By 'better', I assume you mean deeper, meaner, throatier, louder.

Best thing to do, get some axlebacks and lay a little dynomat in the trunk. The trunk is really easy to lay some 'mat in, and it really makes a difference. After all the mufflers are right below the trunk. I added less than 10 pounds to my car for a significant and noticealbe reduction in noise and drone. If I want to make that weight up, I'll just skip that second cheeseburger for a few weeks and run my fat *** around the block a couple times a week.

I'm still shocked at how quite these cars are at highway speeds, much quiter than a true sports car should be. Loudness, even with axle/backs, isn't really an issue.

I've heard positive reviews of quietcar.net - a paint-on product
