The bracket should be in the kit (mine was in the small box that had the MAF & insert). Very easy to cut.. I used a hacksaw (took 1-2 min, going slow). You could use a dremel cutting wheel as well. Just mark off your cutting lines first (enough to slip around valve cover bolt stem).
