Well it seems the racer edition of the C&L Intake now has a part number and pricing of 299 on there site. Wanted to make sure everyone knew about it. Since most cai topics are old, I figured it needed its own posting. I think I actually like the look better than the metal intake. Please chime in if you have one and your thoughts.

Yes they are as nice as they look. If you like the original C&L but for whatever reason wanted it black or plastic you will like this intake. We had one of the proto-types a few months ago and have had the production systems for a few weeks now. It has the same quality as the street system.

Do a forum search on this. I believe it was Doug who dyno tested one of these and couldn't get it to work better than the regular one.

We tested it and posted results here several months back. It was not designed or meant to be better. It was designed for racers with serious engines or people who wanted to save a little money.
