C&L CAI Update - New Tunes!
#1
Hi all,
Here's an update and all the recent r14 revision/tune problems that some of us have had for the C&L CAI. I received the newest tunes from Diablo, both 93 and 91 octane. I installed the 91 octane tune w/ r14 revision, using the 1.2.6 download software. The tune works great!! They have fixed all problems as far as I can tell. I'll be happy to help out anyone with details and such if ya need it!! Big time props to Cole @ Diablo...he really went the extra mile (excuse the pun) for me, and worked with me until all was resolved.
Thanks,

I am considering the Predator and a CAI and was wondering if you can run 87 octane with a CAI? Are there tunes that allow that?

The predator has a 87 octane performance tune. You can adjust the global spark for 87 octane, using one of the CAI tunes - C&L or Steeda. For that, I would contact Cole @ Diablo for the proper setting. Besides the cost of gas, any particular reason you wanna run 87? Hope this helps a bit.

You hit it on the nose...the cost of gas...My last car was a '97 Grand Prix GTP and I had to run super in it all the time since it was supercharged..I was quite happy to have a performance car that runs on regular...!!..!!
Thanks for the reply.
