C. A. I./Chip Question
Got my GT/CS about a week ago. The dealer has the cold air kit that I ordered, but I am still waiting for th echip to arrive from Ford. Its already been 2 weeks. Is this normal?
Getting a "chip" from a dealer is definitely not normal...

Evidnently, with the 07s, the Cold AIr intake is tuned to your car. There is a computer chip that is used in the install that must be set to the cars individual VIN. Sorry not a computer guru, so I can't explain anyt better.
