I am planning on buying an 05 stang with manual tranny. I heard from some magazines that the stock computer limits burnouts and takeoffs. Not t/c but a limiter in the computer. If so can burnouts be done and does a SCT or predator remove this. I want to smoke the tires!

I've had no trouble doing burnouts in my 05. Just turn off the traction control and let the fun begin!

No problems here. Drop the clutch at 4k, rev it up to 6k, shift into 2nd, and continue until she grips.

You will reach a limit without a tune to manage the torque management system, at least with mine there is. I have an 05 built in November and if you try to do a John Force burnout it will shut you down. SCT and Diablo both have addressed this. Rip it when you get it!

No problems here... even with 275/50 tires, an automatic tranny, and stock 3.31 gears. Just make sure that dam TCS is off!!
