you don't gain any hp from doing this correct? It just makes it stronger for when you add a sc or turbo?

Yes, they claim you gain 30-40hp by increasing your displacement by .4 liters. I am also considering a stroker.

Here is a nice build.

Its basically the parnelli jones engine which is rated at 400hp at the flywheel.. so you def get a hp increase from stock and with bolt ons I am sure you can see impressive numbers for a N/A stang

400HP? Show me a Dyno Sheer running anything other than race gas and I'll believe it. 100HP gain in a naturally aspirated engine with only a stroker kit? Impressive if proven but for $2700+ I can procure a turbo on 8psi putting 420rwhp down.

I guess look up the dyno sheet for a parnelli jones mustang because that's basically what the engine is.. close too 400 hp at the flywheel sounds right to me... your also making your engine stronger for a sc... dude procure me a turbo ir something and ill be more then happy to buy it but from what I seen your not getting a reliable supercharcher or turbo for under 4k... plus this option is best for because with my bolt ons and all I need is to get a block machined and I put this kit in I should make close to 400 if not more rwhp and if not im deft dipping into low 11's ya know .. plus would like to slap that 5.0l badge on the car : )..

I kind of remember talking to the folks at brenspeep and them telling me that you didn't really gain much hp from a stroker kit.

Later cars such as the H302SC and S302E were 580HP and 620HP, but this was with a supercharger (with lower compression pistons for that application) along with head work (no headers because emissions would need to be met).

Even things like cost can vary depending on the shop used and the specific work you want done.

I would contact Brenspeed to get their information on their kit and what they recommend. Although their kit is based on ours, they would still be the best source of"

I mean I dunno what i would get with bolt ons.. and superchargers are just really expensive ... im also looking for wrecked 2011-2012 mustangs to do a swap but even those totaled are a lot of money right now

Here's a dyno sheet for the pj ... 335 rwhp that sounds right to me... that with my bolt ons say I get 10hp from each bolt on I have I should be pushing close to or well over 400 rwhp with a really good custom tune

I think for the most part you do not need this unless you plan on going over 500 hp

A stock PJ 302 was more then just a strocker kit it also had ported and polished heads different cams with 10.5 to 1 compression and after a good custom tune mine was running about 425 at the motor

No real gains from a little displacement bump.
Definitely a supercharger FTW.
