brakes are bad
So my brakes are bad!
Twice under warrenty the dealership machined the front rotors under warrenty. But after a few 100k the brakes go back to them old selves again. Braking from high speeds in a few secs they begin to vibrate BAD! The steering wheel shakes, then the brakes fade to the point it's dangerous.
Now i have no plans racing the car, adding forced indution or anything like that, i will have a Bamachips tune & CAI installed soon, with maybe a cam swap over winter. So i want to have fun and feel safe braking.
I can see theres a complete front end upgrade kit available, but at $1300.00!
What if i replaced the front rotors and brake pads with a set of Power Stop rotors with Hawk brake pads from summit racing?
are these products any better than what i have of is it worth saving the money for the big upgrade?
i appreciate any advise you guys can give..
Thanks!

I have Rotorpros cross-drilled & slotted rotors front & back on both of my Mustangs. One has the Hawk HPS pads. I have had zero problem with warping or rust. IMO, they are worth the money.

Ditto...total cost for 4 crossdrilled rotors and a set of Centric pads was like $350 shipped. They are a great deal.
