I argued that either it didnt get that hot since I havent raced my car, and the rotors are faulty or that something in the breaking system is faulty that made it get hot enough, either way it should be covered IMO
they were working fine saturday morning and then while running errands around town that afternoon they cracked, one more than the other, passenger side has small hairline fractured, drivers side a much larger crack. I had them checked out before heading to Vegas not too long ago and they were fine, since I have put maybe 2000-2500 miles on my car, driving to and from work
they said they would cover it over the phone, so I took it in. Then when I got there at the service station looking at it while checking it in, again they said the same thing, then told me they needed to do an inspection to see what needed to be done, I said duh they need to be replaced we can see that, but apparently that is the procedure they must follow so whatever, then after 2 hours of waiting they tell me that they are broken and need to be replaced, duh! then told me it would not be covered and cost me $470something, I said F that (after arguing a bit) and wasted $45 for the inspection and left with my car unfixed. The arguement was long and drawn out and completely stupid and their standpoint made no sense, fine if they wanted to not warranty it, but changing their mind after they had my car for 2 hours and apart and telling me it was covered ticked me off.
