Bottle time...
Bottle time...
so ive been wanting more power now for a while, and my other projects are finally finished. ive done a good amount of research and have come to the conclusion that nitrous will be the best bang for my buck. i just have a few questions that maybe someone with more experience can answer.
the kit i want to use is the zex wet kit, and im looking at 100-125 shot. below is a list of parts, do i need anything else?
- zex wet kit
- zex dual purge kit
- pressure gauge, bottle opener, bottle heater
- zex window switch
i plan on getting a good dyno tune on 93 octane. will i be able to run the nitrous tune daily or should i switch between tunes? also, ive heard i may need 1 degree colder plugs. if so, will those effect daily performance as well?
i want to be able to drive it daily and have a beast at the track, without the drawbacks of a supercharger or turbo (price, mpg, driveability, etc)
Along with nitrous, a new set of FRPP 3.73 gears and the new JLT Series 3 Intake are going on. I also picked up a set of Enkei 17x8 PF01 wheels and have just slapped my street tires on them for now. What kind of tire should I be looking at for the rear (I can fit a 275/40/17 with a little belly) and a good, low rolling resistance tire for the front (215/40/17)?
I have lower control arms, but thats it as far as suspension mods. With good tires and removed sway bar should I be able to hook a 125 shot?
