I got the Borla stingers... And I hate them... Sounds like a angry 350z.... They will b up for sell soon

Flowmaster 40 Series is all I use now. Nothing beats the raspy muscle car sound they produce.

But mounted at the back they just don't sound right... Stupid rear mounted mufflers... **** u ford!!!

Um, with the cats punched I'm getting compliments all of the time. You can mount the mufflers under the chassis if you wanted to but it's going to take some fabrication and then you have to find a way to make a rear bumper without the holes for the exhaust.

The Borla mufflers are too big in diameter to mid mount... But I was just going to run pipes out that back .... Just like the older stangs... I never said I was going to dump it :-/

OP, I love my Borla Stingers...in case you were looking for another opinion.

Silversky, best of luck finding the setup/tone you're seeking...exhaust sound is a bit of artwork at times.

I was kind of surprised when I read that you didn't like the Stingers, but an off-road X vs my H with cats will make a big difference in the sound. You might find that you like them with an H.

I guess it just depends on the sound you are looking for.

Haha I'd recommend exhaust and gears first to be honest man. Not saying I would have, but as far as performance and drivability goes that seems to be what's best lol.
