Borla Axle Backs...

Anyone using these:

http://www.borla.com/applications/lo...ressive/11750/

And if so can you post an audio clip.
I'm considering these for my GT/CS Vert.

Thanks

Here's a WOT run with that exhaust, but with Kooks LT headers as well.

heres two links of these steeda mufflers i found on you tube and are the same that i am running on my vehicle. This person has an off road h pipe from pypes. Sounds much better imo than a off road x pipe(raspy)

not sure if this second has the off road pipes or not.

they get even deeper with long tube headers, but you might want to use resonators.
I dont use them cause i like the tone, but others might disagree

good luck with your choice

Are you just running the axle backs or have you replaced more of your exhaust.
I'm just looking to do axle backs since I've got a Vert I don't want it to loud but I want it louder, deeper, throatier than stock.

Those are the Stingers and in my opinion they are the best sounding muffler for our cars. You will get drone so if you cannot deal with that then i advise against them.

I've had Borla's 11750s, AKA Stingers, on my car since it came in from the factory. Last spring, I added American Racing Longtube headers, with their catted H-pipe. I have a few clips for you to listen to. The drive by is AWESOME!!!

This clip below is after leaving a car show in LBI, NJ. My car comes into the vid at -1:51 to go. I stand on it and it sounds good, if I do say so.

LBI Car Show

Next clip is from inside a tunnel on the way back from the MCA show in Canada. Driving in the tunnel is always FUN!!!

Tunnel pass

With all the clips you got to listen to, how can you NOT go with a set of Borla Stingers, LOL? YOU WILL LOVE THEM, TRUST US!!!!

I have the Borla S-Type (aka "Stingers") axle back on my 2007 GT and I, like several others, agree that it's far-and-away the best-sounding system out there.

I won't bother wasting bandwith by posting a clip as there are a myriad on these forums as well as sites like Youtube.

The Ford Racing axle back is the same exhaust as the Borla at $120.00 cheaper. I have it on my '06 GT and I love the sound...i get a lot of kudos for it.

You will kick yourself if you don't go with the Borla/FRPP Stinger. It's very easy to drive out of the rpm range in which you get drone. If you decide on something else because the stinger is too loud, then go with the FRPP GTA.

I agree it is very easy to drive around the drone. Even knowing the drone I would not change them if I had it to do over again. My wife has sensitive ears and it does not bother her and that is saying something.
