He backed it up with a 13.41. Great 60 foot times as well.

That and he's learning how to drive it. I think a 13.2x in stock trim is very possible.

Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see...

I'd have to see that to believe it, Then look around the car for myself.

Based on this guys previous posts, he seems to be pretty straight-up. He didn't just appear out of nowhere claiming the time with no proof. Others on Stangnet have seen him run and have vouched for his times in the past. If I didn't feel the time was legit I wouldn't have cross-posted it here.

He is straight up.
I think he's the guy in the one video that everyone was raggin on cause he lost to the GTO and did a 'low 14' or whatever it was.

Some people are scheptical about EVERYTHING...
to each is own.

Yep, I believe he is the one on the video. He's been steadily improving the more he races his '05.

No Mods For Me..... The stock GT is fast e'nuff for me the way it sits, but it is my everyday driver 'sreet car', and I am very proud of it just the way she sits right outta the box.

Not much top end....The car is only gaining 20 mph after the 1/8. Looks like the Mach might beat us on the top end.

The Mach traps higher so it will be starting to pull away at the quarter, but how many races last 1/8 of a mile let alone a 1/4. That's my frame of reference which has them about dead even. Add another 500' and then its a different story.

I don't think many of us are living our lives 0.1sec at a time. Basically, this info tells us that our car has got Mach 1 speeds in it. That is very good news since that's a great level of output for most of us.

The fact that it's so good at low-end means lots of fun on normal public roads without officially speeding. I can't wait to own this awesome car.

I don't street race much anymore, but sometimes every once in a long while I will play around on an open highway. This is where the Mach will pull the GT, at highway speeds. At the track, they will be real close. I like to look at the trap speed more than ET, since that is a better indicator of power.

This is awesome! Just think how easy it will be to get her down into just the high 12s low 13s, with nothing too serious. Did anyone get times from a Stang with just a modded exhaust and/or filter/cold air induction?
