So, I just bought the BMR Lower Control Arms, and was wandering if I really need to LCA Relocation Brackets?

Do they make a big difference? New to this stuff...

It says they are recomended for lowered cars, and mine is going to be lowered with the Eibach Pro-Kit.

Thanks.

Well, it will only improve your traction on launch. After dropping my car with the Eibach Sportlines the angle of the lower control arm was directing upwards to the rear, this causes excessive wheelspin. The relocation brackets correct the angle downwards and cause the rear to dig in.

It was worth it to me and will continue to help me plant for better 60 foots with drag radials.

You dont NEED them, we competed all season last summer without them running 1.65 60ft times. But if you plan on doing a lot of drag racing with sticky tires and want better 60ft times and 1/4mile times then I would say they are a worthwhile investment. We purchased the CHE brackets but I think that both BMR and CHE are great companies when it comes to metal fabrication.

They're bolt in. They claim they were tested all year at the track with 1.5 sec short times with no problems. You could weld them if you want.

I'm with you, i'm an everyday driver and an occassional visit to the track, I just bought my LCA and my UCA, the non-adjustable one's with poly urethane bushings are best for occassionaly visits to the track, per Jason @ BMR, which is what i ordered.

I was just about to post that Dan...I called them and they told me the same thing.

You think the prokits would make the brackets needed? I know the sport lines are a little lower....

I couldnt tell ya for sure if its more of a must-have item or what for your ProKit but you will definitely enjoy more bite by installing them. Cant really hurt.

Bolt-in brackets are available from CHE. I have a set sitting on my workbench right now. Pretty stout pieces and the install should be pretty simple.
