I bought an adjustable panhard rod about 8 months ago, and just afew months ago noticed a popping sound in the right rear of the car. I took it to the dealer who figured out that the panhard bar was the source of the sound. I called BMR fabrication to see what could be done about it, and even though the guy could not find me in the database he sent me a brand new bar. Those guys at BMR are first class!!!

popping sound comes on sharp turns, and over bumps. i though it could be axle play or something (which it still could be) I have 4.10 gears in the rear end, andmaybe it could be a clutch pack issue or something? the bar was kind of loose, and the popping was gone after i tightened it, but has since returned. I have to recheck the bar and see if it is loose again. The BMR guy thought it could be the bushings too.

guess i will find out when i get that new bar....

I had a similar popping or clunking sound when I first installed my Eibach sway bars. I think that it mainly has to do with the amount of torque on the bolts holding the bars in place. Once I torqued them down the sound went away.

I just odered the BMR Panhard bar, Panhard bar brace, and Lower control arms so we'll see how my install goes for those.
