Ordered the panhard last thursday am and still no bar I need to install the springs tomorrow or have to wait 3 weeks for more time off.

Can I install the springs and use the stock bar and drive it home from the shop even though the axel is not centered?

If so, can I install the bar later using jack stands on the frame and then get it aligned? (if so where do you jack it from and where do the jack stands go?)

Your help is definately appreciated

Bro, relax. Yes, you can proceed to install the springs w/o the panhard. Not a big deal. Just get the springs installed, and install the bar when it arrives.

Have you actually checked that the axle is off center now or are you just assuming it will be off center? If not the panhard is a non-issue. I did not need one.

I place my floor jack on the center of differental housing (pumpkin) as the rear lift point (even though the owners manual says it's a big no no) and the middle of the K-member to raise the front.

When you lower the car, the axle will shift to the driver's side. It's not a whole lot though. Most don't even notice it. I never had the adj. panhard until I went to wider slicks. I did go with the BMR panhard when I did though.

watch the panhard rod show up tommorow and then everything is ok

you will be fine lowering the car. The big issue is making sure you have some kind of additional camber adjustment incase your car cannot be properly aligned.

As I was finished changing out the springs, I ran by the house and there is was. Got it installed. The springs went really well and pretty easy. My buddy had impact tools and spring compressor... no bearing problems, install went straight forward. Good Job Steeda

Also go the UD Pulleys done aswell. They kind of worried me when I first started them up. The belt has to wear in the water pump pulley like it did the factory.

Did you need it or not? I am installing Roush rear springs only with a 1 inch drop and ordered the BMR adj panhard bar just in case. If it lines up OK then the panhard bar will be for sale.

Say I did lower my car and it did shift, but I didn't want the panhard. Would this damage the car or ride quality in any way or would the back just be off centered a little. Is the car safe to drive if the back is not centered.

From what I understand the panhard bar centers the rear axle. If it isn't off by a couple of inches it probably won't do any damage but it will affect your rear tire wear and look bad. JMO~

For anybody that did use lowering springs and their car did shift, how much did it shift. My rear wheels look pretty centered right now.
