blower in future

I plan on buying a mustang gt in the summer and I will have loads of cash. I plan on buying a whipple HO kit but my questions is about engine work. I like the forged rotating assembly livernois offers. Can someone give me an idea of how much parts and labor will be. I also live in VA beach if anyone recommends a good performance shop. I want a strong safe base for any future plans.

If you're up for the trip, we'd love to help you out. We have a full service machine shop and installation center, as well as dynotuning. We'd be up to the challenge! Good luck either way! Whipple rocks!

If you're planning to only do the bottom end without any headwork I would figure on around $2,000 for internals based on them being installed in your brand new motor with standard bore and stroke. add $500 for shortblock assembly and another $2,000 for engine removal, installation of all components, gaskets, fluids etc. so $4500 or so should do it.

You can add thousands to the build if you want to change bore, stroke, ARP fasteners, port and polish cylinder heads, replace camshafts, or valvetrain.

Add another $2,700-$3,000 for a great set of heads + cams so reaching $10,000 isnt impossible
