best shocks and struts?
best shocks and struts?
Time to lower my car. I already have some Vogtland lowering springs, but need information on shocks and struts. I know many GT owners are happily running Tokico D-Specs. I am trying to get some feedback on using lowering springs with Koni's or Bilsteins. I've seen both priced within $100 of the D-Specs, by a number of reputable internet aftermarket parts sites. Any opinions?
We're $519.99 plus shipping with the remote adjusters included. $489.99 without the adjusters.

Hey Chris,
They also make a non-adustable shock for alot less. For us DD'er guys...how does that shock stack up? And what is that price?

www.hotpart.com has the Tokico D forsale for $503 shipped and in stock. This is the cheapest i have found them.
Just an FYI, I am a DD, and I found the adjustability of the D-Specs very nice to have and definitely worth the price. It took me a bit to find the sweet spot for my particular driving and roads. I might be a bit picky though, so that that with a grain of salt, but I just didn't trust someone else to pick the right valving/rates for my road/driving.
