Hi, I've seen Hurst and B&M shifters on Ebay for a lot less than the Steedas. How does the quality compare?

They will work, if you want to race the car and drive it everyday I would suggest the Steeda. Steeda is involved in product sharing with Ford, that is why they had so many parts for the 05 prior to it's bieng released. I have had MAC, Pro 5.0, and Steeda shifters and can tell you from experience that any of these three are plenty good for my tastes. Personally I know the Steeda works flawlessly with the 05 situation.

It seems Steeda is very proud of their products, and you will generally pay more for a product just because it has the Steeda name on it. Just about any part I've looked at that had Steeda on it, I could find cheaper from another manufacturer.

Most people are very happy with the Hurst shifters.

Haven't heard from anyone with a B&M.

I heard from some with the Steeda, that there was now more vibration/noise coming from the tranny bacause of the solid mount.

I'm getting the Hurst, FWIW.
