I'm in total agreement with 70MACH1OWNER. I have done the poweradder route (first s/c, then twin turbos) and I ended up taking off poweradders and going with 3.73 gears and suspension mods. Had more fun and enjoyment with no concerns about driveability or reliability with gears and suspension. I really didn't need (or use) all 500+ hp when I had it anyway. Best advice is to take a hard look at what you want out of your pony for what kind of driving you'll be doing with it.

Maybe it's because I'm now 52 as well and getting more sensible as I get older. Our 06 will go the route of unlocking power already in the 4.6 and running on 87 octane as I just don't want to pay the higher price for higher octane. If I ever take it to the strip, I'll buy the higher price juice for the experience and better times.

I don't know if we'll ever go with other gears as we do quite a bit of highway driving, and then we may just do the 3.73's instead of the 4.10's, but that would probably be the final/last mod to our pony.

There's my advice from my experience. Of course some will say that advice is usually worth exactly what you pay for it.

Hope this helps.

I would say go with Bama torque tune and if you have the bucks, go with 3.73's ( I have heard that it is best for autos) and OMG the torque.
Thanks.

I already have a 4.10 and i will go with a 93 Race tune and a 91 Torque Tune.
