Best gears for supercharged 5-speed GT?
Why do you want to change the gears?
With all of that extra power I feel that the 3:55's are the perfect gear for a blown street car.
If, however, you want to spend a lot of time at the drag strip and lower your 1/4 miles times, then go with the 4:10's.

I can spin the 3 first gears at will with 4.10's
I like 3.90's in a supercharged, on the street, and occasional track or spirited driving.
I like 3.73's in a supercharged daily driven car, looking to stay conservative as possible on gas mileage.
I like 4.10 and 4.30 on track cars with SC depending on what kind of HP numbers.

I was advised to keep the stock 3:55s on my daily driven 5spd with my Whipple HO blower. I think 4:10s would be a little overkill on a mostly street car with a twin screw.
Btw, you never mentioned what type of SC you have.

I have stock 3.55's and with the taller tires, I have the equivalent of a 3.37 rear end ratio. Way too tall for track driving, but really great on the highway on gas. I get 24 mpg at 60 mph. But it feels pretty tall driving around town. At least it's easy to drive with all the torque of the KB and you don't have to shift gears as often.
I would get 3.90's if I swapped them out, which would give the equal to 3.70's which I think would be perfect. I think with 4.10's I would just spin all the time, as oppossed to most of the time.

Talked to Brenspeed about this same question and without a doubt they suggested to keep my stock 3.55's if I'm considering their Paxton kit. They said they can light em up like nobody's business with that setup and anything else I would be dealing with traction headaches. Check out their vid!!!!
+2... I love my 4.10s, but I also spend a lot of time on the drag strip. I'll be switching to drag radials for street use here pretty soon, because my Nitto street radials are basically worthless.
