Best Drag Radial

I am curious how many of you are using drag radials when you go to the track and which brand works the best. I don't realy want to use a full drag slick and would like to use a radial design on some stock take offs. Any advice here would be most appreciated!

Did you order them from somewhere or buy locally and if you don't mind me asking what did you pay for them?

I bought a set of BFG 275/40 DRs for a great price, and I haven't went to the strip with them yet but I can tell they're not gonna cut it for me. I'm blown with low gears, but still......

I'm gonna get some crap from Brent at Brenspeed the next time we go to the track together..... he recommends MT ET Streets and sells them. I've seen one of his cars run 150 shot of N2O off the line and have very little spin. When he sees me having trouble with these BFGs, he's just gonna say "I told ya so". The next set I buy will be MT ET Streets.

Yeah I saw the package deal he has on the web site its a pretty good price for tires and take off wheels I am trying to see first if I can find some take offs a little cheaper and buy the tires seperate. I just want to know which brand to go with and what other feedback is with what they run.

I have the ET streets, they are wrinkle wall and are not as hard on the drivetrain as the radials. I have to try, to not get a 1.6 60'

Thanks all!

KC What mods are you running. I have 410's and all the normal bolt ons tunes, CAI, off road H, Shifter, UDPs so on so forth I feel like the car can get into the 12 second zone with this combo but the last track outing all I could muster was a 13.4 spinning hard thru 1st and second gear on the stock pirellis.

My Goodyear dragradials hooked up pretty good. I am still getting use to them. Only one day at the track so far. I was still use to my street tires.

not sure, only 7 runs on them so far, they look the same as when I put them on. They are new on the market so right now very rare.

Yeah they are fine for the track. at 17psi you can feel the rear a little loose at 100 mph, lol. No biggie, alot of people are running that size on the stock 17"
I dont drive to the track with them on.

I ordered over the phone from this place in Michigan. 517-592-6681
Not sure if they have a web site, and I havent found anyone online to carry them

David, I got mine local, but found them on ebay (just got lucky) and only paid 175 or so for them each. I was looking for some 17x8 takeoffs, but found a good deal on the 17x9 Shelby knockoffs (really cheap!!). I've only made about 16 runs on them and about half were 1/8th mile plus I drove them to and from the track.
